Burton Island -- Reference

Post by ggordon »

Welcome on board the Burton Island

The Burton Island, launched in 1946, was a Wind class cutter. She served in the United States Navy as USS Burton Island (AG-88/AGB-1) from 1946 until 1966, and was then transferred to the United States Coast Guard as USCGC Burton Island (WAGB-283), where she remained until 1978.
