Yes, penguins do seem to appear a lot in this contest - along with monkeys and bears.

I recently traveled to Northern California through the Jackson Demonstration State Forest and came upon a "Steam Donkey." Thanks to friends from Shipopoly, I knew just what is was for and some of its likely quirks and character. A logger's version of a Donkey Boiler- the plaque on the site even made reference to sailors' names for steam equipment. While they do log in the forest, logging is managed and replanted. There were displays showing trees taken out by helicopter.

Spectacular valleys and cliffs hidden beneath the North Sea

Like a bowl of spaghetti noodles spilled across the floor of the North Sea, a vast array of hidden tunnel valleys wind and meander across what was once an ice-covered landscape.

These valleys are remnants of ancient rivers that once drained water from melting ice sheets.

Now, scientists have achieved the clearest view yet of these channels. They're buried hundreds of feet beneath the seafloor, and they are enormous, ranging from about 0.6 to 3.7 miles (1 to 6 kilometers) wide.

Have a most wonderful birthday, Randi!!!
(I tried to upload an image but it didn't quite happen... it was an Arctic sea otter wishing you a very happy birthday. He's sporting a birthday hat and holding balloons that I drew in. Enjoy your day!)

Thank you both!

First, you need to have the image on the internet.
If it is your own image you will need to upload it to imgur or something similar.

Here is an example using an image already on the internet: https://www.seacoastonline.com/storyima ... 409934.jpg

Click either the 'landscape painting' button above the text entry box:

or the imagew button above the text entry box on the right if you want to specify the width:
