I am a great fan of beans, although I normally use dried beans.
I love baked beans, but, at least in the US, they tend to have a lot of sugar.

Ah, yes, beans!
When the three of us were working on a mineral claim in Canada's eastern arctic, Brian and I spent all our time out on the land, looking for evidence of a uranium deposit. (Our boss stayed behind, analyzing our results and getting geological samples.) Being far from our tents, Brian and I carried food that we could eat quickly. With so many flies attacking us, we stopped for as short a time as possible. Our usual lunch was a can of Libby's Baked Beans. We had no way to heat them up, so we just opened our cans and ate them as is.
Once the snow started to go, the mosquitoes, black-flies, deer-flies, horseflies and all the others of their kind made their appearance. At first, it was just enough to wave the flies away or brush them off your spoon of beans but, after a while, there were just too many. So, Brian and I came up with a commercial for Libby's Deep Brown Baked Beans, featuring two rugged guys out in the Canadian wilderness:
Rugged person #1: "I like Libby's Deep Brown Baked Beans because of the rich flavour."
Rugged person #2: "I like Libby's Deep Brown Baked Beans because of the large pieces of pork."
Rugged persons #1 & #2: "We both like Libby's Deep Brown Baked Beans because of the CRUNCH!"

The fire is out now, 1200hrs
Another small bush fire has started near us. Red circle at bottom centre. Not in any danger as there is pasture between us and the forest.
The tracks are the fire fighting helicopters hopefully water bombing.
Close up of some circle work by two choppers. They are near the top.
