While I was searching for a location of the Army Pier on Excursion Inlet, I came across this short and well-written article about the $18-60,000,000 white elephant. I gather, from reading the article, that the pier was, to all intents and purposes, located very close to the cannery.

The voyage for 1943 is finally finished. Masterful work by JokeSlayer. Sadly, the log keepers were VERY sloppy, which made the task of generating the voyage very time consuming.
