Finished this year, there was some pretty rough weather in the first half of December
Ship departed Seattle in late January, and spend the whole year based at Cordova, operating in the Gulf of Alaska, with a couple of trips a bit further afield, including a week in Haines for the crew to get firearms training and ~1 month spent in Seattle in summer to get some work done, duties appear to mainly have been to provide assistance to the locals and stop illegal fishing.
There were maybe a handful of mentions of ice throughout the year, all of them referencing the Columbia Glacier or ice that had come from it (and judging by Google Maps it's retreated a lot in the last 80 odd years
)
Ships mentioned in second half of the year (though a couple of them were mentioned when someone transferred from or to them, so they will not necessarily have been nearby):
Daphne
Tallapoosa
U.S.S. Captain Fornana Army Tug
Morris
Cedar
Atlanta (possibly the Atalanta?)
AGCMS Brown Bear (

Swallow
Hermes
Tamaroa
Galatea
U.S.F.S. Chugach
Tahoe
Pulaski
