0745: Increased speed to reach St. Paul Island on proper tide, to make in landing in ice at most opportune time

0937: Made ice surrounding St. Paul Island, working through leads.
Ice extent today. X marks the approximate position of St. Paul Island. It looks to me like the ice edge today is just north of Saint Lawrence Island, 63.25N. St. Paul Island is at 57.13N. The difference in Latitude is 6.12 degrees or about 370 nautical miles.
