8:10 a.m. Algonquin got underway and stood out of harbor.
8:15 a.m. Sent Thomas Crowe, patient, ashore to hospital at Jessie Lee Home in the care of Deputy U.S. Marshall at Unalaska.
4:25 p.m. Got underway for Akutan Harbor.

9:30 p.m. S.S. "Victoria" stood into anchorage. Received information from her that the sack of mail for the "Haida" had been left in Seattle.
Proof that Friday the 13
th brings bad luck.
