For sure it is! They do say that you can 'smell' in dreams...how's the river doing on the olfactory front (or is that the territory of nightmares?)?

Can't say I remember any particular smell. I think this picture triggered it.



It reminded me of a canoe trip six of us made down the Nahanni River in the Northwest Territories in 2002.

Last year we had to put down our two old cats. The CO said, "That's it! No more cats. Too expensive, too much work!"

Well, sort of, when they aren't eating, or sleeping or causing a ruckus, or hiding when strange people or dogs come for a visit to see them.

Glad to see cats have returned to your house, Michael - and great river pictures too. The cats look as though at least they get on with each other.

They're 10 week old kittens, brother and sister, so they do get on.

I keep seeing trailers for this program and can't decide if I can cope with watching it. Mind you a good cry is supposed to be cathartic.

That program sounds like a bad cry. I'm not so sure that is cathartic

It was a very good programme, but very hard work. Soul wrenching to be honest. Seeing the mother and daughter last two northern white rhinos was rough, however the extinction of all the unromantic but necessary critters in the insect world was terrifying.
