ggordon has reserved 1880, which starts off with a lot of telegraphic signalling.

Even though I know it's not the case, I call the year a voyage. Sometimes the year has only a few months, sometimes a year has two voyages and sometimes a voyage lasts for two or more years. :roll:

The voyage for 1879 has been completed with many thanks to espross, who did brilliant work on this, his first ship!!! You can see a plot of the voyage here and, for more detail, you can download the KML file and view it with Google Earth. There were a few mentions of people, and you can read them here.
