Another smart uniform! I hope they all have spacious wardrobes to keep them all in good condition ....

Yup -we get 25 square yards of walk in wardrobe for our togs. I really like this one - very dapper. But I can tell you that it's hell getting those socks white. I don't wash them of course - my mess-man does, but he says it's very burdensome.

Michael wrote:Sat Jul 14, 2018 11:05 pm Yes, it is.

And some of those mods are very fussy, and I have to wash those socks over and over and over again...

When you can't go Ice Hunting because your computer is in the repair shop.

This actually just happened to me - on Sunday evening, I spilled Gatorade on my laptop!
So I took it in Monday, and was unable to do any OW for the next few days.
But I got lucky - only the keyboard needed to be replaced, which was done by Thursday.
Everything else was fine, the shop guys said it was likely due to me reacting very quickly.

Here's what to do if this happens to you - I recommend reading and memorizing at least the first seven steps, just in case (Remember Murphy's Law!)

Indeed there were, and I'm very glad that you mention it Randi. Now I can't remember if it was on the BBC's programme 'Countryfile' or on 'Coast', but they did show a group of women doing a boat pull for the cameras. There were a lot of ladies, they did a good job of it. It might have been in Staithes:
