Away from the coast, a severe heatwave warning is in force for south-east NSW where temperatures will climb about 10 degrees above average for up to four days.

December looks a bit hotter than usual.
January threw to March looks like it could be a lot hotter.

Randi, Do you get Lake Snow? Are you snowed in?

We don't normally get Lake Snow.
When I went to the grocery store this afternoon, I saw just a few scattered flakes but nothing stayed on the ground.
This evening it is very cold, but dry.

We had a light dusting of dry snow this morning, but it is all gone now.
