Sorry, but it is a lovely 21c here with a light breeze.
Don't worry you will get your own back at me in about 7 months when we have winter. :D :D

I had been worrying about all of you. We were hoping for a little rain but I think that is out of the picture now. Hold on!

We don't normally get Lake Snow.
When I went to the grocery store this afternoon, I saw just a few scattered flakes but nothing stayed on the ground.
This evening it is very cold, but dry.

I don't pay that much attention to the rain, other than to enjoy it. If it looks like rain and I need to go out, I put on my raincoat and waterproof shoes. I like the way the rain cleans the air. I live on the side of a hill away from the creeks and rivers. So It's never a problem here. However, the wind storms have been a problem; this year more than usual. There have been lots of power outages, Internet outages, and road closures from downed trees. Fortunately, the lights have only flickered at my house so far and no trees down in my immediate neighborhood.

We've had 1.2 mm of rain so far, but it has been windy. Mind you, we are in a sheltered area for both wind and rain. We're in the rain shadow of the Olympic Mountains, so we get less rain that places just north of us, and we are in a bit of a hollow, so our winds are about half of what they are three or four kilometers south of us.

Summary:1224 Hrs
Maximum: 10.0 10.4 deg C
Minimum: 5.5 4.8 deg C
Precip: 1.2 1.2 mm
Max Wind: 44 44 kmh
