Once again, Stuart, Great pictures! The inverted image with the satellite trail was interesting. Also, I appreciate an occasional shot with a something to give size reference; the gentleman pointing gave a sense of proportion. THANKS!

One for Kevin.
And one for Joan.
And one for all.
Merry Christmas to one and all from Down Under

Gingerbread Village is lovely, looks like a task for long January nights instead of during the bustle before Christmas, however.
Regarding Santa on skis, I am worried about how much water that white fur trim and red crushed velvet coat can absorb. If he falls he will have one terrible time getting up again.
Stay safe all.

Thank you Stuart- the Gods of e-images have decided to go to sleep on you...they will be on Santa's naughty list
Have another bash - I'm looking forward to my surprise
I'm signing out now, well south of midnight here. I've decided not to put the garden trailcam out because it might catch Santa and that would mean an empty stocking in the morning.
A very merry Christmas to us all

The theory...
Print after a sketch by T. Dart Walker, entitled Christmas Eve in the United States Navy.
Giving the famous Highland toast and song for sweethearts and wives. Wherever Uncle Sam's
fighting ships are stationed throughout the world, it is the custom of the officers to rise, as here
depicted, at the conclusion of the Christmas Eve festivities in honor of the absent home folks.
This sketch was made by the noted marine artist, T. Dart Walker, while crossing the Arabian Sea
on board the battleship 'Kansas'.
