That is gorgeous! I looked at it closely (I sew a bit.) There is lots to that outfit. I wonder how much it weighs? I don't think I need one, however; that much real fur would find me in trouble in Southern California.

Any chance of it in green please? I love those shoes - they look to be very comfy for folk with wide feet and a high instep like mine

Hah, ditto on the feet for me too.
Went to a foot doctor 2 years ago for custom insoles. He marveled at my small feet and high arch (they're wide too).

Count me in. Years ago, when I rode a motorcycle, I used to get logging boots from Pierre Paris and Sons. They had a metal shank and steel toes and the boots went well above the ankles, all needed to save your feet in case of an accident. The boots were $25, if you bought them off the shelf, but $50 if you wanted them made specifically for your feet. As I said, this was a LONG time ago. If their off the shelf boots didn't fit, they would make you a custom pair for just $25. They always had to make me a custom pair. I still have one pair and they still fit perfectly. Needless to say, they're not very practical for day to day use.

Count me in on the wide feet- not terribly high arches. I buy inexpensive shoes, take the insole out, and put in my pricey (by my standards) insoles and have improved my back, ankles, and balance walking. Luckily, I don't need the steel toes any longer, either.
I have long thought that "Normal", or in this case average was a pretty vague or subjective measurement. Our model in the painting seems to be a little on the "Plus" size.
