All added to db. Thanks everyone!
The story of USS Wateree and the Iquique earthquake is absolutely interesting.
Too bad logkeeper noted just two bearings, with a third one we could have indeed guessed her original location!

Should be this wreck, unfortunately I'm not a member, so can't get the position from here: https://www.wrecksite.eu/wreck.aspx?2248931140 Paddle Wheel of Str Sacramento SW, San Geronimo NW 3/4 W.

Yep,
The current Arrecife Sacramento (Sacramento Rocks) is indeed where SS Sacramento wrecked. Cannot pinpoint the exact part of the reef where the ship was with just two bearings, but the area is certainly around 29.733N, 115.766W (geonames: https://www.geonames.org/13157353/arrec ... mento.html)
It's quite interesting that 8 years after the wreckage (happened in 1872) the remains of her paddle wheel were still visible on the reef
Edit: But we have something better, a nautical chart where the wreck is located!
https://collections.leventhalmap.org/se ... :0z709d68b
According to the chart, wreck was in the southeastern part of the reef, roughly in position 29.72946N, 115.76029W
