Northland references a lighthouse at Point Colpoys (she spells it Point Colpois though). It doesn't seem to have an on line history but it is referenced in some databases of Alaskan Lights.

Light is still existing nowadays: https://fishing-app.gpsnauticalcharts.c ... /-133.1984

I've added the light to geonames and our db and updated Point Colpoys position, which was a little off... the light is faintly visible on bing satellite imagery, google one is too blurry in that area. Thanks!

Norhland is now visiting various places on the Bering Sea. Her log (1927) references Teller MIssion. This has a complicated history. The Town,Teller, lies across the harbor from the mission. The mission itself was renamed Brevig Mission in 1903. Wikipedia gives histories, complete with native names, which include locations but how you disinter the references for Geonames I leave to you.

Northland now references a Point Spencer Light. Apparently at this time there was a Point Spencer Light Beacon. The details are given below but how this relates to the Point Clarence Light I am not sure - I've put the coordinates from this reference in the log.

Bear mentions Cape Kuliugmiut which is one of (the very many!) variations of Cape Kuliuk.
