E 01 Across deNEVE Spanish Governor de Neve founder of the City of Los Angeles on Sept 4, 1781.
The full name of Los Angeles is El Pueblo de Nuestra Señora la Reina de los Ángeles de Porciúncula, which translates to "The Town of Our Lady the Queen of the Angels of Porciúncula". The name is Spanish and is an abbreviation of the original name. Makes addressing post cards difficult.
