Christine is getting tired of the rain. She moved into her house on May 2nd and she still hasn't been able to walk in her back yard. It's too sodden and, when you walk on it, your shoes sink about four inches into the mud. (I know, I ventured into her yard and harvested the tangerines that weren't eaten by the Kookaburras.)

Drainage ditches work well. Across the back of the house and drain it into the storm water downpipes.

Thanks, Maikel. I still run into an occasional person who doesn't acknowledge human caused global warming, but I find they are folks who are not likely to be swayed. A good argument is still good to have in a back pocket.
