They have accepted my request for an option in Tools/Options/LibreOffice/Application Colors so you can change that colour to one that works for you. I'm not sure when that will appear, but maybe soon. It might be an option with a heading like Cell Focus color. It may already be an option in your version, but I do not want to try it out. This version is slightly older and does not have the latest features, but it has been tested for longer.
I also plan to ask again for an option to change the background colour of the cell when you're entering data. I had asked for it to be transparent. One developer said it was doable, but another said it was impossible. The colour is the same as the Document Background colour, but changing that causes other sheets to become unreadable. They need a second variable.
In fact, I rarely update my version of Calc. The current recommended version is 7.6.5, but this is where I'm at:
I figure that if it works, why change it? If or when they make options for the cell focus colour, now blue, and the cell editing background color, now white, available, I will get that version, once it's older and more stable.Version: 7.5.9.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
