At 9 o'clock, sent funeral party ashore to bury the body of the late Frank Jacobs (Qr. Gr.) Funeral party returned at 1020.
No mention of volleys or half-masting colors.

J. Walsh (app) attempted to jump ship while under the influence of liquor. He fell overboard, was picked up, brought on board and placed in double irons for safe-keeping by order of Comdg. Officer.
