Tonight: about a minute to get in, and 15 seconds for pages to open and icons to load.
I didn't have to log in this time however.

I'll be away for a few days, but next week I'll try to find some time to do a demo clean install of the phpBB software with an empty database. With that in place I'll ask they you try the demo version when the OW version is slow. If the demo is also slow, then it's probably the service provider. If the demo is not slow, then it means we probably have a software or database issue.
