The highest temperature occurred on January 14 with 11.9 degrees.
The lowest temperature occurred on January 30 with -5.9 degrees.
The average temperature for the month was 6.1, the normal is 5.9.
The total precipitation for the month was 27.4 mm, the normal amount is 109.2 mm.
There were 22 days with precipitation, the normal is 19.
The most precipitation occurred on January 07 with 5.0 mm.
*** This is the driest January on record, beating the old record of 44.8 mm.

Short but damaging storm over Sydney (AU) yesterday.
Watch for the flying boat at the very beginning of the clip. I thought sailing involved being ON the water, not flying through it..
