That's the faint steam wafting out of the top. It's your coffee and/or tea sitting there piping hot.

I don't know, that's quite an odd look on her face; I'm not sure I would trust that drink. And he's wearing slightly denim looking outfit. Should be sturdy. They look a miss-matched couple. OW must have brought them together. .

Jason and Medea
by John William Waterhouse

"The painting depicts the Colchian princess, Medea, preparing a magic potion for Jason to enable him to complete the tasks set for him by her father, Aeëtes.

Medea's determined facial expression shows a characterization consistent with that of Greek literature, particularly Euripides' tragedy Medea.
"

Good one, Chris!

I don't look good with large things wrapped around (Accentuating) my middle. I could go for the hat, however.

OW'er returns home from business trip, eager to get back to his favorite vessel.

(That's me alright - just got back from a week in Munich, which was pretty fun (got to see Neuschwanstein, and Oktoberfest preparations!))

Given the unreliability of Deutsche Bahn (they were punctual this time, but you can't always count on it), a horse might actually be the better option!

"Be wary of that man, young ladies, for he was once a perfectly respectable gent, but then became addicted to some citizen science project, and everything changed!
Now he never attends any social events, never goes to the horse races, never even leaves the house except to buy food or acquire tomes to fuel his addiction!
Do not let him persuade you to join the project, lest you suffer the same fate and find yourself excluded from proper society forever!"
