In my short time in the Merchant Navy one of my first jobs was to look after a donkey boilers when the main steam boiler packed it in..
Not quite donkey boilers but recently I was working on steam train boilers, retubing them.
No way!! Wow - that's more than I expected! :o Well - do you really think that they should be left in the hands of someone who once fixed a car accelerator system with an old biro lid? ;) If you felt a need to increase your property port folio.... ;)
I would love to get back on the tools, it's been a long time since I got my hands dirty.
How about M200 for the donkey.

Lighthouse here, Somewhere. Bad when the Lighthouse gets lost.
First, Chris has earned well deserve time off. I hope you are not working too hard on his real job! Thanks for setting me straight.
So I landed on Community Chest
Roll [1-16] 4 OH MY! This is the best one yet! I receive ice cream, doughnuts and pies from the Golden State Co.
Then I get to go on Shore Leave- likely with a tummy ache. Since I PASS GO, I am to receive M200.
Best Round ever!

I'm back! Trip was pretty good except for the weather, which went back and forth between too hot and too wet!
But it was great to meet my colleagues face to face, and find out some more stuff about the company.

Anyways, to the game:

Result of the dice: 1 + 4 = 5
OK, that means one more turn in Drydock for me.
(The way it works is: If you fail to generate doubles on your third turn in Drydock, you can leave on your next turn without having to pay anything)

10. someone doesn't like my handwriting :-( and off to Famagusta. It says "back to." So does that mean not going past Go?
Regardless, Famagusta is unowned, so I'm buying it.

Actually, 8 from Shore Leave takes you to Hong Kong, which I own, so I get M14 from you.

Also: It turns out Joan owns the Donkey Boilers, having bought them in the last round, but I forgot to process that :oops:

That is correct. You don't pass Go.
But now you are the first player to own a whole color group!

Michael's move
From Base Ship Tamar: Throwing 5 + 5 = 10 => Depot Ship Intrepid
You threw a double. Go again!!!
Morgan owns Depot Ship Intrepid and is owed $25 for owning one.
Please, Mr. CFO, make the appropriate payments.

Michael's second move
From Depot Ship Intrepid: Throwing 4 + 6 = 10 => Survey Vessel Enterprise
No-one owns Survey Vessel Enterprise, so I'll buy it.
Please, Mr. CFO, make the appropriate payments.

I was on board all three ships in a row! That doesn't happen often. :D

Thanks, Morgan. I was about to go and sit beside a dock with my cap in hand, crying, "Change? Spare change?"
