In my short time in the Merchant Navy one of my first jobs was to look after a donkey boilers when the main steam boiler packed it in..
Not quite donkey boilers but recently I was working on steam train boilers, retubing them.

No way!! Wow - that's more than I expected! Well - do you really think that they should be left in the hands of someone who once fixed a car accelerator system with an old biro lid? If you felt a need to increase your property port folio....

I would love to get back on the tools, it's been a long time since I got my hands dirty.

I'm back! Trip was pretty good except for the weather, which went back and forth between too hot and too wet!
But it was great to meet my colleagues face to face, and find out some more stuff about the company.
