Just up the road from my place. (Well, a bit more than "just", 3000kn North West)
I heard about this cloud on the ABC radio this morning.

One entry is by the 'The Cloud Appreciation Society.' I'd best appreciate a monster like that by simply not being underneath it. It's humungous! :o

Here is another cloud formation in a similar area.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Morning_Glory_cloud

Enjoy the videos.
Glider pilots often go up there when the cloud forms to fly along the length of the cloud.

Some even Hand glide it.

One of my colleagues at work walked up to my desk and showed me a screen capture of a satellite picture of clouds across SouthWest England that morning. It was a Morning Glory Cloud. My jaw dropped. What that hang glider did - awesome, but as they don't come with brown bags I better forgo the pleasure

WOW! Some clouds. The Hector cloud looked a little like an anvil-shape to me - and that means tornado warnings. Living in a semi- arid urban area, I miss seeing great clouds in the evening sky. Thanks.

As of 11:20 it has warmed up to -6C.

A few more degrees and I will go do my grocery shopping!

I typically go for a morning walk. It has been overcast or foggy for a couple of day. Today it was clear and I noticed suddenly how the days have gotten longer! (Sorry Stuart.)
