Re: Transcriber Weather

Lovely sunny morning but frosty! My outdoor thermometer was showing 5C (it is a bit close to the house) but frost on the roofs of cars parked on the road and on the grass in the fields.

Re: Home and Garden center

There is also a biological control, tiny parasitic wasps, but I think that works best if you're growing in an enclosed space like a glasshouse (so your wasps don't escape!).

This town was the site for Australias first oil and gas discoveries. Now, most of that goes overseas and we pay a fortune to use it locally. :o

Re: Transcriber Weather

The UK temperatures yesterday didn't quite make the predicted 42C but the max was 40.3C which did break the previous record. It got up to 34C where I am which is definitely too hot for me. Cooler now!

Re: Transcriber Weather

Last night the temperature in parts of the UK didn't drop below 25C breaking the record for overnight minimum (previously 23.9C). It wasn't quite that bad here, it was 22C at about 6am before it started going up again. I think that's higher than the average max temp for July in these parts! The pred...

Re: Coronavirus

Managed to catch Covid on my holiday

Just a sore throat and a bit of a cough but as I still had some lateral flow tests I thought I might as well do one, expecting it to show it was just a summer cold!
