Cool find, Joan - and pretty neat to see Debrett's keeping up-to-date with the times 8-)

Caro introduced Joan and me to Waffle ...

I got the first two and lost the next two

I wonder if it is an attempt to sabotage climate research?

I like this one best - it might be the most appropriate for us, even!

Well I got this one 2nd guess but I suspect that it will plumb the depths of my lack of direction sense if I persist. I know the names of lots of countries but how they sit in relation to each other is a challenge (mind you some of my names are out of date - my geography lessons finished over 50 years ago and the wretched governments keep changing names and I don't always keep up).

I got today's on the first try!
However, I doubt that I will do as well on most days.

I would be better at the geography quiz if my spelling was better. Well, I guess the word games, too.

Hint for the geography game: Distances between countries are based on center to center, NOT border to border!
Took me some time to work that out

How do you measure that distance?

Depends - a foot long ruler if you've got time to spare, otherwise probably GPS reading to GPS reading

I waste time on geoguessr too.
Today's result in the anywhere-in-the-world category: Your guess was 3 [metres] from the correct location.
Nevertheless, I was given full points. :D

Has anyone noticed, the Worldle images look a bit like Rorschach tests? I didn't know there was a calf's head in the lower side of XXXXXX. (I don't want to spoil it if you are playing later. )
