If you are looking for a spin for your birthday, here is and article from Finland - getting out and enjoying the great outdoors.

Best regards, Morgan
Thank you so much! Who knew that making ice carousels was a thing? That one should be just about big enough to hold my birthday cake, which will look great rotating around.

(And I was going to say, "those crazy Finns" but then I saw that Minnesotans do this too...)
Canadians too!

Ode to the typewriter - https://vimeo.com/500620210 (for those lucky enough to be working on typed logs).

Love the merry-go-round ice circle, and the geese were so funny.

Great vimeo Kevin. I used to have a typewriter. Getting the page in straight seemed to be my nightmare. I'd have been sacked by the Navy for keeping wonky weather records. :o

Considering the logs, I would say that no-one was ever sacked for keeping wonky weather records!

I still have one of the typewriters in my basement that was in the video. I hated when I tried to go too fast, two letters would get stuck together on the page, and I would have to stop and pull them back. Correcting mistakes was no fun either.

To change the topic, this just popped up in an email from a friend.
It's a great way to wash the bus. I guess the route timetable serves as the log book?

Seattle had something similar, but apparently there were maintenance issues and the company was forced to shut down after mechanical failure resulted in a head-on collision with a regular tour bus.

The amazing thing about the German bus is that it looks like an otherwise normal bus. The Seattle Ducks looked more like boats driving around the city.
