Shipopoly
Re: Shipopoly
With all the money they got out of me, they can afford to do it themselves!

Thanks Stuart. It feels good to laugh when you've got long days due to moving
(Move's coming along quite well, actually. Bit by bit, I'm getting there)

Re: Shipopoly
According to the running sheet, Joan and Michael still have to go in this round.
Chris, Janeece and I were 43yrs in the same place before moving to a retirement village 2 yrs ago.
(I don't know about retiring being time to relax, I have not done so much for a long time.)
You will be able to manage it.
Is it just you or the whole family?

Re: Shipopoly
I had to miss a round. If I am supposed to play this round, let me know and I'll do so tomorrow morning.
I'm glad your move is going well, Chris. Take time to set up things the way you want them. It saves time and energy from having to shift evrything around several times. Having moved at least 13 times, I think I can offer some wisdom...

Re: Shipopoly
I don't think we will ever move age (after 26 years in the same place.) We will just "Abandon." Take care, Chris.
Re: Shipopoly
I'll send a note to the Quarter Master's Office (I think that would be the right one?). It needs a light touch and a lick of paint - nothing too serious
Hi all, I had my go for this round: viewtopic.php?p=22414#p22414 So I'm currently in the (burnt out remains of the) Naval Fines Office. I passed 'GO', collected M200 and seem to have found a good use for it - buy some paint for the NFO
Michael had to miss a go so I'll start the next round.
The pooch throws 2+6 so moves on to the hee-haw Donkey Boilers. Home territory.

Thank you Randi
I didn't know (or had forgotten a long time back) that it is on Cyprus. I wonder why I put it in as the cheapest square on the board? Alas- also forgotten

Barometer rolls 3 + 3. Hmmm, I think I exit on this roll and roll again.
So that would be Singapore (pay the tea kettle)
Then 6 +5 takes me to Pearl where I inspect my sail.

View of Light House in Long Beach - some call it the ugliest in California. It's pretty when they light it up (recently in Blue and Yellow)
Long Beach Lighthouse next door in Los Angeles Harbor.
Roll 4+1=5>> SCAPA Flow. I owe Michael M50. And I am still of a mind to buy it if you like.

Your number one on my list of buyers. When I run row on cash, I'll consider your offer...
Re: Shipopoly
A sneak peak everyone! The CFO's new modernised office. He's still moving things in, but it looks like it will be a pleasant billet

Re: Shipopoly
Hi.
Would someone please adjust the "Still to go" counter (still showing 6 June) so I can work out if I still have to go.
Thanks.

Actually, 8 from Liverpool takes you to the Alacrity, which is yours, and you get M200 from passing Go.
Now for my turn:
Whoops, guess the program doesn't like me taking so long to update this.Result of the dice: 4 + 1 = 5
Go to Drydock!
