"What's this about a citizen science project involving old logbooks? Maybe I should check it out..."

(Inspired by a recent interview I did for DIE ZEIT, one of Germany's biggest serious newspapers, that got published recently.
According to Randi, we've already gotten two new people from it!
If anybody wants to read the article, send me a PM and I will send you my translation from German - the original is behind a paywall)

See! The temptation to go to sea and see the world without leaving your writing table - irresistible!

Myself, enjoying a well-earned summer vacation with family.

This actually fits quite well, as we are all in a big house on a lake!
(Although nobody's wearing wigs and tights...)

I like this one Chris! After the gleaming steel armour this looks so refreshing for an easy summer's day. :D

That's fine for the ladies. Are the men stuck with powdered wigs and tights? :D :D :D

WOW! I thought we were sitting around in our sweats in isolation. Here I find that one of the ladies is lavishingly in clothes that fit well and has her hair done exquisitely. I knew there is a reason I haven't found an avatar or photo to go with my sign in. This is a good one. "Fess up," who is it?

I so wish I could say it was me, but even in my salad days I couldn't do that! There's a reason why I use the Christian Radich's figurehead as my avatar picture - she's my 'woman inside'.

Very evocative painting for how you must be feeling Chris. We miss you too. But I hope that you are having a splendid holiday. Then, like the little lost sheep also in the picture, it'll be wonderful when you get back to the OW fold. ;) :)
