From what I understand, Yantic was in Penang and Singapore in March and April 1873, so I would like to reserve those two months.

I tried the maps provided on this site, they were fine for the Lower Yangtze, but for the upper Yangtze I couldn't find a lot of the places ... managed to find this online, "Sailing Directions for the Coast of China". It had most of the places mentioned in the logs. https://books.google.co...
