Re: Shipopoly
Place was a pig's sty. 1+3 (again with the low numbers) lands me in Ilolio, which is still available. So I'll purchase it and change the spelling to Iloilo. Iloilo City is known for its old churches and for jusi (raw silk) and piña (pineapple fibre) fabrics. I'll think I'll fill up my hold with some...

Re: Shipopoly
1+3 (I don't know what this is with these low numbers I keep getting) takes me to Chance 13 (well that's not low...) Hit by lightning, compass goes wacko, well at least it's not the barometer! Get a free throw- 5+3 ('bout time to get some big numbers) Pass Go and Yikes, Naval Fines Office. Well easy...

1 + 3 = Pearl Harbor.
I'm sure it's a lovely place. I've been to the Big Island, but not Oahu. I'll buy it anyway

Re: Shipopoly
gotta 4 + 2 - Vancouver
You're MINE. I WANT you. Please. Thanks.
(When I logged on I saw everyone but me was at a place that began with the letter S. When Vancouver is mine I'm renaming it Sans Couver, which translates to "without a table cover.")

Re: Coronavirus
Learned something new today about the COVID shot (for women only). Because of the immune response, your lymph nodes swell, and on mammograms it looks like a lump. So to avoid extra testing, wait 6 weeks after having a shot before you get a mammogram. In my case, I got my booster on the way to the wo...

Re: New TV programme?
All sounds like a pumpkin casserole to me. Chunks on pumpkin, sliced onion, a binder of some sort, and meaty bits. With a breadcrumbs sprinkled on top. If no binder then a stew. If they had cheese they could float slices of bread with cheese on top, like French onion soup.

Re: Coronavirus
I'd mentioned how a flu shot made my arm sore, and was asked if the provider told me to relax my arm. Nope. I've had providers tell me to do that... And that's why. Since then I've taken care to be sure my arm is not tense and I've not had tenderness around the arm. Now I will say after my first Cov...

Re: Coronavirus
I got my second shot this week. First shot took a couple of weeks of checking with each pharmacy/chain, then there was a site that consolidated all the separate sites (yay) and that's when I found an opening. Not in my neighborhood but just a few exits away. They signed me up for the second shot whi...
