A tad breezy on the 19th June,

Velocity of wind increased to more than 90MPH, limit of annemometer register.

Force 12 entered in the log.

They also had US Army T-65 in tow.
Bet that was not fun.

Because of their run to the weather station at Kap Cort Adelaer I was trying to see if I could find any reference to the station. This is the best I could do. I'm not convinced of the position for the station, but ...

US Army Weather Station Kap Cort Adelaer (http://www.warcovers.dk/greenland/kapcortadelaer.htm)

This reference (http://www.warcovers.dk/greenland/army_unit_aacs.htm) has a similar Lat/Long for the station, as well as the locations of many other Greenland US Army Airways Communication Sites.

Here are the first three voyages for 1946:

This set put the number of analyzed data lines for all the Arctic ships just over the 125,000 mark!

Yay team!

Do you think the personnel volunteered or were conscripted to go there?
I looks a little bleak.

It is bleak, but it does have its own beauty. They were in the army, so they probably didn't have much choice.
